We're partnering with a well-established commercial fitout/refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality projects across Melbourne. Due to a healthy pipeline, they're looking to add a Project Coordinator who can support Project Managers and Site Teams to keep programs, procurement, and documentation running smoothly.
The Role
Reporting to a Project Manager, you'll help coordinate end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams - subcontractor engagement, RFIs, procurement, cost tracking, and project admin - while building your capability toward a full Project Manager pathway.
Key responsibilities
- Support PMs with program tracking, procurement and subcontractor onboarding
- Assist with RFIs, variations, document control and project reporting
- Coordinate site/start-up requirements (inductions, SWMS, permits, lead times)
- Track budgets, commitments, invoices and basic cost reporting
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers,
and internal teams to keep deliverables on time
- Maintain strong governance around quality and safety documentation
About You
- Experience as a Project Coordinator / Contracts Admin / Project Engineer/ Assistant PM (construction or fitout)
- Exposure to commercial fitout/refurb projects (ideal), or a strong build background with transferable skills
- Confident communicator who can coordinate stakeholders and keep momentum
- Solid documentation and systems discipline
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and keen to progress your career
