SL Auto & Tyre Service is a growingheavy and light vehicle workshop specialising in fleet maintenance, tyre services, and mechanical repairs. We are currently looking for an experiencedTyre Fitter / Wheel Alignment Technician to join our growing team in Brisbane.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy workshop environment, takes pride in their workmanship, and works well as part of a team.

You will be responsible fortyre fitting, wheel balancing, wheel alignments, tyre repairs, and general tyre maintenance across a variety of heavy and light vehicles, includingprime movers, rigid trucks, trailers, commercial vehicles, and passenger vehicles .

Key Responsibilities

- Fit, remove and repair tyres ontrucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
- Carry out wheel alignments to manufacturer and fleet specifications
- Diagnose tyre wear patterns and provide recommendations to improve tyre life
- Perform tyre rotations, puncture repairs, balancing, and replacements




- Inspect tyres for safety, tread depth, uneven wear, and damage
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and follow all safety procedures
- Complete job documentation accurately and report work completed
- Work closely with mechanics and workshop team to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist in maintaining fleet tyre inventory and stock management
- Support continuous improvement of workshop processes and standards

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience as aTyre Fitter or Wheel Alignment Technician
- Experience working withtruck and trailer tyres (highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of tyre safety standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attitude and willingness to learn and improve

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:

- Hunter HawkEye Wheel Alignment Machine
- Smart Balance Wheel Balancing Machine
- Heavy vehicle workshop experience
- HR or HC truck licence (advantage but not essential)
