We're a people-first mobile Exercise Physiology team working across Sydney, QLD, and the ACT, primarily supporting clients under compensable schemes (Workers' Compensation and CTP), alongside growing exposure to private, DVA, Life Insurance, Medicare, and NDIS.

The Opportunity

As General Manager, in this newly developed role, you'll work directly alongside the CEO to translate vision into operational reality bringing structure, strategy, and steady leadership to a team that punches well above its weight.

You'll lead a team of approximately 25 staff (and growing) across NSW, QLD, and the ACT, building the systems, culture, and capability that allow MVMT Rehab to scale without losing what makes it special. This role comes with real authority, real accountability, and the backing of a CEO who values collaboration and straight talk.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading day-to-day operations across all states and territories, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance

Building and developing a high-performing, geographically distributed team of clinicians and support staff

Partnering with the CEO on strategic direction, growth planning, and current market entry





Driving business performance — with one eye always on how we're treating our team and our clients

Oversight of profit and loss and decision making based on financial constraints

Developing the systems, processes, and infrastructure that allow MVMT to grow without losing its character or main purpose

Overseeing clinical governance, compliance, and quality frameworks across all funding schemes

Managing key stakeholder relationships — insurers, referrers, case managers, and funding bodies

Leading staff wellbeing, retention, and professional development initiatives

Staff performance reviewing and management where required

Representing MVMT Rehab externally — at industry events, with referral partners, and across the communities we serve

Travelling regularly across NSW, QLD, and the ACT — presence in the field is how you stay connected to the work and the people doing it

What You'll Bring

Proven senior operations or general management experience — healthcare or allied health senior management or general management required.

A track record of leading distributed teams across multiple locations or states

Strong commercial acumen — you understand the numbers, what drives them, and how clinical quality and financial performance intersect

Experience in or meaningful exposure to compensable schemes (Workers' Comp and/or CTP) required.

Exceptional communication — you're as comfortable with a frontline clinician as you are with an insurer, a CFO, or a referrer

The ability and willingness to travel across NSW, QLD, and the ACT (inherent requirement)

A genuine belief that how we care for our staff is as important as how we care for our clients
