About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Perioperative RN with advanced robotic and urology expertise to join our leadership team as the Robotic Urology Coordinator.

Reporting and working closely with the Deputy Theatre Manager, Perioperative Services Manager and broader theatre leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating robotic urology services, supporting clinical excellence, and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities





- Coordinate and oversee the Robotic Urology program
- Manage and facilitate robotic surgical lists to ensure efficient theatre operations
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, industry representatives and theatre teams
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to perioperative nursing staff
- Promote and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Support ongoing education, training and professional development
- Ensure compliance with ACORN standards and relevant legislation
- Contribute to risk management and patient safety activities
- Participate in a 7-day on-call roster

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with access to the latest surgical technologies and procedures.

About You

You are a confident clinical leader who thrives in a fast-paced perioperative environment and is passionate about advancing robotic surgical services.

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a highly competent Scrub/Scout Nurse in Urology, including robotic procedures
- Robust leadership, communication and interpersonal skills




- Demonstrated ability to teach, coach and support staff development
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, on-call requirements and occasional Saturdays
- Sound understanding of ACORN standards, risk management principles and contemporary perioperative practice
