About the Opportunity

This position offers the chance to work closely with the General Counsel and a wide variety of stakeholders in a broad and influential legal position. You’ll be a trusted advisor across the business, with no two days the same, you will gain exposure to high-impact projects, build strong working relationships within the business providing advice across a wide range of commercial, corporate, operations, contractual and regulatory matters.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting the legal and commercial teams in negotiating services, procurement and construction contracts, including both variations from the company's standard templates and amendments to supplier terms;




- Assisting with the strengthening of the company's contract templates and contracting processes;
- Supporting the negotiation of agreements with third parties, including mining access agreements and licences; and
- Assisting with corporate matters, including ASX announcements and governance activities.

About You

We would like to speak with corporate or commercial lawyers with 5-8 years' PAE, ideally gained across both private practice and in-house with a background in either the mining, resources, construction or engineering sectors.

You’ll also bring

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex legal concepts for non-legal audiences.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
