Description:

Your Community Health is seeking experienced General Practitioners to join our growing Urgent Care team in Northcote. Manage a diverse range of non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team and make a genuine difference to people in Melbourne's inner north.

We are particularly seeking GPs available for:

- Monday | 8am-3:15pm
- Wednesday | 3pm-10pm
- Saturday | 8am-3:15pm | 3pm-10pm

Take on a regular shift that fits around your existing practice or other commitments, with additional AM and PM shifts available across the week.

Part-time arrangements are also available for GPs seeking more regular hours.

About The Role

As an Urgent Care General Practitioner, you will assess and manage patients presenting with non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses requiring timely care. Your work may include the assessment and management of:

- Minor injuries and wounds
- Infections and acute illnesses
- Musculoskeletal presentations
- Acute symptoms requiring timely assessment
- Other presentations appropriate for management in an urgent care setting

You will use your clinical judgement to assess patients,



provide appropriate treatment and escalation or refer patients when a higher level of care is required.

About You

You are an AHPRA-registered Medical Practitioner with full registration and confidence managing acute clinical presentations. You will bring:

- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- The ability to confidently assess, treat, elevate and refer patients as appropriate
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
- A commitment to safe, high-quality and inclusive healthcare
- Experience in urgent care, emergency or acute primary care is highly regarded.
