Senior Full Stack Developer - 12 Month Initial Contract with 5 Vacancies

We are seeking experienced Senior Full Stack Developers to join a modern cloud development team working across front-end, back-end, integration and cloud infrastructure.

There are five positions available on an initial 12-month contract , offering the opportunity to work as part of a broader technical team delivering modern, cloud-native applications.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and supporting cloud-native applications, working across the full technology stack and closely with technical leads, architects and delivery teams.

- Design, develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript .
- Develop and support cloud-native backend services and microservices .
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using OpenAPI and contract-first development.
- Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using API and event-driven patterns.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK .
- Design and implement scalable relational and NoSQL data solutions.
- Build secure, resilient and maintainable AWS-based solutions.
- Implement validation, exception handling, audit logging, monitoring and observability.




- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security and quality assurance.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Produce technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and delivery stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience

Front End

- Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript .
- Experience with modern CSS and component libraries.
- Experience building complex business workflows within role-based user interfaces.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and modern UI development.

Backend & APIs

- Robust experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs in AWS environments .
- Experience with OpenAPI and contract-first development .
- Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems .
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC and JWT-based authentication .
- Commercial experience developing backend services using Python .

AWS

Strong hands-on experience with a range of AWS services, including:

- AWS Lambda
- Amazon API Gateway
