As the Operations Manager at Glendenning's ARC site, you will be ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Sydney's largest manufacturing operation while maintaining a strong focus on safety and meeting production targets.

Reporting directly to the NSW Area Manager, this position offers an excellent chance to expand and enhance existing skills.

What you will be doing:

- Take full P&L; responsibility for the Glendenning operation, with accountability for revenue, gross margin, operating costs, working capital and overall branch financial performance
- Lead thedaily operational performanceof the site across production, logistics, scheduling and service execution
- Set and deliver production, volume, service, cost and financial targets, ensuring performance is aligned with the branch budget and business strategy
- Manage and mentor the operations team, creating ahigh-performing culture through clear accountability, performance management and leadership
- Identify and implementprocess improvements, productivity initiatives and cost efficienciesto improve profitability
- Lead maintenance planning and reliability improvements toincrease machine availability, utilisation and output
- Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to maximisecustomer service, revenue opportunities and profitable volume growth
- Proactively manageinventory, working capital and material utilisationto reduce waste, improve cash flow and protect margin
- Monitor and manage key P&L; drivers includinglabour, freight, conversion costs, maintenance, scrap, productivity and overheads
- Use operational and financial data toidentify performance gaps,



develop corrective actions and drive continuous improvement
- As a key member of the leadership team, contribute to and influencesite and area strategic decisions, budgets and business plans
- Champion a strongsafety-first culture, ensuring operational performance never compromises safety or compliance

What you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience managing afull P&L; or significant operational budget, with a strong understanding of revenue, margin, cost and working capital drivers
- Proven ability totranslate financial targets into operational actions and measurable results




- Strong commercial acumen with experience managingcosts, productivity, labour, inventory and capital expenditure
- Ability to lead a high-performing operational team in afast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong exposure toproduction, maintenance, logistics and operational planning
- Excellent understanding ofcontinuous improvement, cost management and operational efficiency
- Steel, building products or industrial manufacturing experience is desirable
- Strong understanding ofsafety systems and risk management
