As Assistant Director, International Partnerships, you will lead strategic initiatives that strengthen trade, investment and international relationships across the Asia-Pacific region. Working with government, diplomatic and industry stakeholders, you will provide high-level policy advice, lead international missions and events, and represent the NT Government in senior forums. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with strong stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking and international relations expertise to contribute to the Northern Territory's economic growth and global profile.

Essential Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience providing strategic leadership in a complex government, international relations, trade, investment or public policy environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills,



with the ability to provide practical advice on complex issues.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience preparing high-level briefing and decision-making materials.
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive partnerships across government, industry and international networks.
- Experience leading complex projects and managing competing priorities in a dynamic workplace.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including developing and supporting high-performing teams.
- Understanding of geopolitical, economic and trade issues relevant to the Northern Territory and Asia-Pacific region.
