We are partnering with a leading life insurance organisation to appoint an experienced Actuarial Systems Manager to join a high-performing Finance team. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in the development, maintenance and optimisation of actuarial systems that support valuation, forecasting, capital management and financial reporting.

About the Role

As Actuarial Systems Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing and supporting actuarial modelling capabilities, working closely with actuarial, finance and technology stakeholders. You will lead the design, development, testing and implementation of actuarial system solutions, while driving continuous improvement across models, processes and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development and enhancement of actuarial projection models.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and coding standards.
- Build, test and implement model enhancements and system changes.
- Conduct model reviews and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and controls.
- Analyse and define data requirements for actuarial model inputs and outputs.




- Support the integration of actuarial systems with broader finance and reporting processes.
- Provide technical support, incident management and user training for actuarial systems.
- Manage system availability, performance, security and access controls.
- Partner with actuarial, finance and technology teams to support key business and transformation initiatives.

About You

You are a technically strong actuarial qualified who enjoys solving complex problems and leveraging technology to improve business outcomes. You combine actuarial expertise with systems knowledge and a continuous improvement mindset.

Skills & Experience

- Around 7+ years' experience within the life insurance industry.
- Deep experience working with Prophet, including model development and system configuration.
- Strong programming and data analysis capabilities.
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to validate and challenge complex results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
