Senior Veterinarian - Greencross Fairy Meadow

Greencross Fairy Meadow is offering an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian ready to step into a leadership role within one of the region's most advanced veterinary hospitals. Our amazing Veterinary Director is going on 12months leave to travel Australia, so we are looking for a Senior Vet or Veterinary Director for a fixed-term contract (permanent options available!).

Located in Wollongong, our recently renovated facility features 9 spacious consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, CT imaging, DR radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ICU, three surgical theatres, dedicated dental and endoscopy suites, in-house pathology and advanced orthopaedic equipment.

Working alongside Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) Wollongong, which operates an emergency service from the same building every weeknight and all weekend, our patients receive seamless 24-hour care while our veterinary team enjoys a varied caseload without the requirement for after-hours work.

As a Senior Vet or Veterinary Director, you will lead a passionate and capable team while continuing to enjoy hands‑on clinical work. This role offers the autonomy to influence the direction of the clinic, mentor and develop veterinarians, and drive exceptional standards of patient care.

In this role, you will:





- Lead and inspire a team of veterinarians and support staff to deliver outstanding patient and client care
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high‑performing clinic culture
- Mentor and develop veterinarians at all stages of their careers
- Partner with your Practice Manager, Area Manager and Regional Clinical Director to drive clinical excellence and business success
- Continue to build strong relationships with clients and the local community
- Enjoy a varied caseload ranging from routine preventative care through to complex medical and surgical cases

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or equivalent examinations. For further information, please refer to
