We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principal’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2028.Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
The Deputy Principal role is dynamic and diverse! While specific elements of the Deputy Principal's portfolio are negotiated with the school leadership team, responsibilities may include:
- Leading curriculum implementation and supporting high-quality, evidence-based teaching practices to improve student outcomes.
- Supporting staff development by encouraging professional growth and reflective practice, empowering teachers and providing differentiated support throughout their improvement journeys.
- Collaborating closely with phase-of-learning team leaders to foster a culture of collective responsibility, teacher-led change and continuous school improvement.
- Working collaboratively and sensitively with students, families, staff, external agencies and Department of Education support services to strengthen engagement, wellbeing and educational outcomes.
- Coordinating and overseeing case management, attendance, behaviour, disability resourcing and intervention processes for students requiring additional support.
- Prioritising student wellbeing and promoting inclusive, trauma-informed and restorative practices across the school.
- Coordinating and supporting the effective planning and delivery of whole-school events, activities and programs.
- Ensuring the delivery of the school’s Business Plan through data-informed decision-making, monitoring student progress and implementing evidence-based interventions to maximise learning outcomes.
- Analysing system and school-based assessment data to identify priorities, monitor impact and guide improvement planning.
- Managing multiple and competing priorities effectively within a busy, complex and fast-paced school environment.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
