ABOUT THE ROLE

n

We're looking for a reliable Driver to join our busy Door Centre team. You'll deliver doors and building materials to customers across Cairns, making sure every load arrives safely, accurately and on time.

n

This is a hands‐on,



physical role for someone who enjoys being part of a team and providing great customer service. We'll support you with ongoing training and opportunities to build your skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

n

n
- Complete customer deliveries safely and on schedule
n
- Check loads against run sheets and confirm all goods are accounted for
n
- Load, unload and move stock safely, taking care to prevent damage
n
- Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and teammates
n
- Operate vehicles, forklifts and other equipment safely and in line with company procedures
n

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

n

n
- At least three years' truck-driving experience and a clean driving record
n
- A current Medium Rigid (MR) licence, forklift (LF) licence and White Card
n
- Forklift experience, including confidence working in tight spaces
n
- Physical fitness and the ability to handle goods safely
