Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Subject
Matter Expert (SME) to support and enhance Dayforce Human Capital
Management (HCM) operations. The successful candidate will act as the primary
functional expert for Dayforce, partnering with HR, Payroll, Learning, and
Business stakeholders to ensure efficient operation, continuous improvement,
and optimization of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
This is a client-facing onsite role requiring strong functional
expertise in Dayforce modules including Payroll, Workforce Management,
Onboarding, Offboarding, Learning, Employee Data Management, and HR Service
Delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary SME for the Dayforce platform and associated
HR processes.
- Support day-to-day operations, incident resolution, and user
queries related to Dayforce.
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Learning & Development, and IT
teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Configure and maintain Dayforce modules including:
- Payroll
- Workforce Management
- Employee Lifecycle Management
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Learning & Training
- Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS)
- Analyze business requirements and recommend best-practice Dayforce
solutions.
- Support testing, system upgrades, patches, and recent feature
deployments.
- Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Develop process documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, training sessions, and end-user
enablement activities.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams for integrations and
issue resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process automation
opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM.

- Payroll Processing

- Leave and Attendance Management
- Workforce Scheduling
- Business Knowledge
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes.
- Experience supporting end-to-end employee lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Australian payroll and workforce compliance
requirements.
Technical Skills
- Experience with
Dayforce configuration and administration.
- Knowledge of HR
system integrations and data management.
- Experience with
reporting, analytics, and dashboard development.
- Familiarity with
testing methodologies and release management.
Soft Skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead workshops and training sessions.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in an onsite
environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dayforce certification(s) preferred.
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting HR Digital Transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based support models.
- Experience working with distributed support teams.
