We have an opportunity for a permanent, full time Technical Trainer Assessor to join our Mobile Equipment team on an 8:6 roster (roaming), working across multiple sites while being headquartered out of our Welshpool office.

Reporting to the Technical Trainer Superintendent, you will play a key role in compliance training and skills development for heavy mobile equipment across various MACA mining sites.

Key result areas include:
n
n
- Deliver and manage compliance training and competency assessments for heavy mobile equipment across MACA mining sites.
n
- Uphold HSEQ standards by working safely, reporting hazards/incidents, and ensuring full compliance with procedures and regulations.
n
- Support workforce development by liaising with Project Managers and Supervisors and coordinating training.
n
- Maintain accurate training records, complete required documentation, and provide regular activity reporting.
n
- Drive continuous improvement through high-quality training delivery, process improvements, and active contribution to team initiatives.
n
- Maintain a high level of training activity (minimum 75% in training/assessing) while remaining fit for duty and performing work to required standards.
n

To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an open pit production mining environment.
n
- Experience operating a range of heavy mobile equipment, including:n n
- Dump Trucks
n
- Dozers
n
- Graders
n
- Excavators
n
n
- Strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
n
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel.
n
- Current WA driver's licence.
n
- High Risk Work Licence (preferred).
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n
n
