Veterinary Referral Hospital (VRH) is seeking passionate and experienced Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Nurses to join our growing team. We have full-time and part-time opportunities available across day, evening, overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts.

The Role

n

As an ECC Veterinary Nurse, you'll be involved in the care of a diverse caseload of emergency, medical, surgical, and neurological patients, managing cases from presentation and stabilisation through to ongoing intensive care and recovery.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Emergency triage and patient stabilisation
n
- ICU and critical care nursing
n




- Hospital nursing and inpatient management
n
- Anaesthesia monitoring and peri-operative support
n
- Management of complex and challenging referral cases
n
- Working collaboratively with specialists across multiple disciplines
n

n

You'll be supported by experienced ECC clinicians and nurses who are committed to mentoring, education, and helping you grow your skills and confidence.

n

About You

n

We're looking for a capable and compassionate nurse who brings:

n

n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
n
- Minimum 3 years' clinical nursing experience
n
- Previous emergency, critical care, or referral hospital experience
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
n
- The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
n
- A genuine passion for Emergency & Critical Care
n
- Availability to work across day, evening, overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts
n
