REACH for Training is seeking an experienced Vocational Education and Training (VET) Trainer and Assessor to join our Hunter & Central Coast team on a contract basis (a minimum of 2-4 days a week).

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to help students develop the skills and knowledge needed for a rewarding career.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- 1. Preparing and delivering engaging classroom-based and online training sessions
n
- 2. Conducting comprehensive skills assessments to evaluate student competency
n
- 3. Providing individualised support and feedback to students throughout their learning journey
n
- 4. Ensuring training and assessment practices comply with relevant standards and regulations
n
- 5. Contributing to the continuous improvement of training materials and assessment tools
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 1. Relevant vocational qualification at a minimum of Certificate III level
n
- 2. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)




n
- 3. Preferred significant experience as a Trainer and Assessor in the vocational education and training sector
n
- 4. Solid knowledge of the VET Quality Framework, training package requirements and assessment validation processes
n
- 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
n
- 6. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual classroom platforms like MS Teams
n
- 7. Recent industry experience (within last 2 years)
