The Opportunity
n
An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Australian property group in a broad and hands‐on Bookkeeper position. Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of the day‐to‐day financial operations across a growing group of entities, playing a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the continued growth of the business.

This is a diverse position offering exposure across the full accounting cycle, ideal for an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant who enjoys taking ownership and working autonomously.

The Challenge
n
Reporting to senior stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities and business units
n
- Managing the full accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
n
- Processing invoices, payments and day‐to‐day financial transactions
n
- Completing daily and monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Preparing and lodging BAS, GST and other compliance requirements
n
- Assisting with the maintenance and improvement of the chart of accounts
n
- Cleaning up existing bookkeeping records and implementing improved processes
n
- Ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial information across the business
n
n
The Expertise
n
n
- 2+ years' experience in a Bookkeeping, Accounts All‐Rounder or similar accounting role
n
- Strong experience across AP, AR, reconciliations and general bookkeeping
n
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence liaising directly with business owners and senior stakeholders
n
- Exposure to Xero (highly regarded)
n
