About the role
n
Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking a Enrolled Nurse to work within our Rehabilitation team. This position will be employed on a maximum term contract 12 months, full time 38 hours per week basis. Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope's Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater's commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.

Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport. This facility was established in 2016 and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.

- Delivering optimal patient outcomes throughout every stage of the patient journey and continuum of care
n
- Applying exceptional clinical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of procedures to manage patients with outstanding care
n
- Integrating quality and risk management strategies seamlessly into daily service delivery
n
- Collaborating effectively with the nursing team to ensure consistently exceptional care
n
- Maintaining and advancing your professional skills and knowledge to support ongoing growth and development

About you
n
n
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
n
- 12 months post‐grad as an Enrolled Nurse
n
- Ability to work in an ever‐changing and fast paced environment
n
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision‐making skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients
n
