Urgent requirement of Network Operations Manager - Contract - Brisbane

n

Requirements

n

To design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure with a robust focus on routing & switching, network security (Palo Alto firewalls), VPN solutions (Prisma Global Protect), SD-WAN (Cisco Meraki), and data centre networking (Cisco ACI).

n

Key Responsibilities & Skills

n

n
- 1. Routing & Switching:n n
- * Design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN networks.
n
- * Implement dynamic routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
n
- * Configure and manage: VLANs, STP/RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, QoS policies
n
- * Optimize network performance, resiliency, and redundancy
n
- * Conduct capacity planning and network upgrades
n

n
- 2. Network Security (Palo Alto Firewalls):n

n
- * Design and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls
n
- * Configure: Security policies, NAT rules, zones, App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, IPS/IDS and threat prevention
n
- * Implement advanced features: URL filtering, WildFire, SSL decryption
n
- * Perform firewall audits, upgrades, and rule optimization
n




- * Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities
n

- 3. VPN & Remote Access (Prisma Global Protect):n

n
- * Deploy and maintain Prisma Global Protect VPN
n
- * Configure: Remote access VPN, Site-to-site IPsec VPN
n
- * Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues
n
- * Implement secure access policies and MFA integration
n
- * Ensure seamless connectivity for remote workforce
n
- * Design and implement Cisco Meraki SD-WAN solutions
n
- * Manage: Auto VPN, traffic shaping, WAN failover, Application-aware routing
n
- * Monitor SD-WAN performance via Meraki Dashboard
n
- * Optimize WAN cost, performance, and availability
n
- * Integrate SD-WAN with cloud and data center networks
n
- * Deploy and manage Cisco ACI fabric
n
- * Configure: Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts and policies
n
- * Integrate ACI with legacy networks and L3Out connectivity
n
- * Troubleshoot spine-leaf architecture issues
n

- 6. Monitoring & Operations:n

n
- * Use of monitoring tools (e.g., Statseeker, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar)
n
- * Maintain network documentation and diagrams
n
- * Perform root cause analysis for incidents
n
- * Ensure adherence to ITIL processes
n
