Stringing Supervisor - Transmission
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Stringing Supervisor - Transmission to join the delivery team on one of Australia's most significant energy infrastructure developments. This role is pivotal to the successful execution of high-voltage transmission line stringing activities, specifically across 500kV transmission corridors.
As a Stringing Supervisor, you will oversee stringing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met while coordinating with subcontractors, field crews, and project engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate stringing activities for 500kV transmission lines.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Manage daily work plans, crew performance, and equipment logistics.
- Liaise with construction managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor progress and report on milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.
- Support commissioning and handover processes as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for skilled and qualified professionals who meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in stringing supervision on high-voltage transmission projects (preferably 330kV or 500kV).
- A current UET30521 Certificate III in ESI - Transmission Overhead.
- A valid High Risk Work License with Elevated Work Platform (WP) endorsement.
- EWP & Tower Rescue certification.
- A valid MR class manual driver's license, with willingness to upgrade to HR (HR license preferred).
- Proven work experience on transmission networks, with a commitment to safety.
- Good understanding of PSSR / CPR-LVR.
- Familiarity with Transgrid or similar utility standards.
- First Aid and High-Risk Work Licenses (e.g., EWP, Dogging, Rigging).
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment comprehensive medical assessment and national police clearance (arranged by the company), including routine on-site drug and alcohol screening.
Day-to-Day
- Oversee and manage stringing operations on-site, ensuring all activities align with project timelines and safety standards.
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and engineers to address challenges and maintain workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety protocols.
- Prepare and review daily work plans and progress reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during stringing operations.
