The Role:
n
Effectively perform and manage all payroll related functions for the organization, ensuring that all employees are paid correctly and efficiently.
n
What You'll Do:
n
n
- Processing of fortnightly pays for all NZ employees and AU Payroll processing.
n
- Preparation & Posting Bank & Payroll Journals on Business Central & SAP (Inducing Trial Balance Checks).
n
- Maintenance & actioning emails from Payroll Inbox, IRD Portal Messages/Letters.
n
- IRD PAYE Reconciliation and lodgment.
n
- Updating New Hires, Cost Centre & any master files changes on Affinity Payroll System.
n
- Timesheets processing each fortnight from UKG Time & Attendance System.
n
- Reports to Management for Incentive Calculations (Monthly/Quarterly).
n
- Ensure all payroll and personnel forms are completed and chase any missing information.
n
- Preparation of Month End Reports.
n
- Payroll Tax Reconciliation Preparation.
n
- Respond promptly to payroll enquiries from employees/managers.
n
- Terminate leavers off payroll system and archive appropriately.
n
- Workers Compensation & ACC Queries, Filing certificates and managing payments and handling requests from GSA & WorkCover.
n
- Preparation of Annual Wage estimates for Workers Comp Renewal.
n
- Processing GOV PPL & Company paid parental leave top ups.
n
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
n
- Any ADHOC Duties/Reporting from time to time.
n
n
Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- Systems Savvy & Good with Excel (Pivots and Vlookups).
n
- Exposure or involvement in Systems Implementation or any payroll remediation projects.
n
- Experience using Payroll/HRIS and T&A; Systems.
n
- NZ & AU Payroll Processing for at least 2-3 years for over 500 -700 employees.
n
- Knowledge of awards, KiwiSaver, leave entitlements and superannuation.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
n
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls and meet strict deadlines.
n
- A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
n
- Proficiency in Affinity, UKG and/or HiBob is highly advantageous.
n
