This is an outstanding opportunity to provide strategic tax planning and advisory support and ensure Data#3’s compliance with Australian tax laws and accounting standards. About the role
Prepare and review annual income tax returns (Australian and Fiji), half yearly tax effect accounting calculations, and monthly BAS
Prepare annual FBT return, voluntary tax transparency, employee share scheme, transfer pricing and taxable payments reporting
Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors; ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
Update Tax Governance Framework and act as key contact for internal tax-related queries
Support Payroll on employment taxes such as payroll tax
Drive continuous improvement of tax processes, controls, and systems
About You
You will be a highly motivated tax accountant who works well in a team environment with:
Extensive experience in tax compliance,
including working in a commercial environment
In-depth working knowledge of financial and management reporting and the impacts of corporate taxation
Current working knowledge of the relevant accounting standards and disclosure requirements of publicly listed companies
Tertiary qualified with professional membership to ICAA or CPA
