Our client is a well-established South Easte public practice firm known for the quality of its client relationships and the calibre of its people. As the firm continues to grow, they're looking for a Senior Accountant or high Intermediate.

About the Role

n

You'll work closely with the firm's Managers and Directors across a varied portfolio of business and individual clients, taking genuine responsibility for the compliance and advisory work in your care.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS/IAS for a mixed portfolio of clients (companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals)
n
- Managing your own workload and deadlines, with support from a Manager rather than constant oversight
n
- Being a genuine point of contact for clients, fielding questions, explaining outcomes clearly, and building relationships that last
n
- Reviewing and mentoring the work of Junior and Intermediate team members
n




- Identifying opportunities to add value for clients beyond the immediate compliance task at hand
n

About You

n

n
- CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion, support is available to help you finish up if needed
n
- 4 years' experience in an Australian public practice environment
n
- Solid technical grounding across tax and financial statement preparation
n
- Excellent communication skills, confident and clear with clients, not just with numbers
n
- Well organised, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning your own workload
n
- A genuine interest in client relationships, not just technical delivery
n
