- Shape how CPP manages and coordinates digital information

Who Are CPP?

CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia’s electricity grid.

As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 500 company ranked #192 on the NYSX, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.

Established in 1996, we’ve connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 800 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth, we partner with Australia’s major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions.

Join us in shaping the future of energy.

CPP has the largest in-house design and engineering team of any contractor in Australia, with over 170 specialists across Electrical Primary and Secondary, Civil, Structural, and SCADA disciplines. We provide end-to-end engineering solutions for high-voltage infrastructure, including nationally significant transmission projects, HV substations, wind farms and battery storage systems that drive Australia’s renewable energy transition.

Our engineers work closely with construction and operations teams, ensuring designs are practical, constructible, and continually refined through real-world feedback. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we deliver solutions that support a stable, reliable, and sustainable energy future.

The Opportunity

This newly created national role is an opportunity for an experienced Digital Engineering or BIM leader to shape how CPP manages and coordinates digital information across our projects, disciplines and offices. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the position can be based in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth.

You will lead Digital Engineering and delivery from tender and project planning through design coordination and final digital handover. Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, you will bring together our civil, structural, primary electrical, secondary systems, transmission lines and SCADA teams to ensure models, information and deliverables are coordinated and compliant.

This is a management and coordination role rather than a hands‑on drafting position. It will suit someone who can move confidently between project delivery and strategic capability development, establish practical standards and bring multiple disciplines together across major, complex projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

A relevant qualification in design/drafting, engineering, architecture or a related discipline

Senior-level experience leading Digital Engineering, BIM or information management across major multidisciplinary projects

Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans, Common Data Environments, federated models, clash coordination and digital handover

A team-oriented leadership style, with the ability to coordinate technical disciplines and build strong relationships with clients, project teams, consultants and contractors

Experience in transmission, utilities, renewable energy, data centres will be highly regarded however not essential

A current Australian driver’s licence and the flexibility to travel when required

Be rewarded at CPP.

At CPP, we value our people above all else.
