We’re looking for an experienced Business Analytics & Reporting Lead to lead RFQ’s Performance and Analytics function and strengthen the way we use reporting, business intelligence and analysis to support decision-making across the organisation.
You’ll work across RFQ to turn complex organisational data into clear, meaningful insight for our Executive Team, Board and service leaders. From organisational performance and contractual reporting through to business analysis and analytical solutions, you’ll help build a stronger, more consistent picture of performance and support thoughtful, evidence-informed decisions that drive continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead RFQ’s Performance and Analytics function, with responsibility for strengthening organisational reporting, business intelligence and analytical capability across the organisation. Your work will include:
- Leading and developing the Performance and Analytics team, setting priorities, building capability and supporting continuity of critical reporting and analytical services.
- Overseeing organisational reporting across contractual, funding, service, outcomes, executive and Board requirements, ensuring information is accurate, timely and meaningful.
- Turning complex organisational data into clear insights that support executive oversight, operational decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Strengthening reporting frameworks, performance measures, data definitions and quality controls to improve the consistency and reliability of organisational reporting.
- Leading complex business analysis and identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve reporting processes, business rules and information flows.
- Designing and continuously improving business intelligence, reporting and analytical solutions, including Power BI and Power Platform.
- Supporting the design, implementation and evaluation of reporting, analytics and related business improvements.
- Working closely with service leaders, corporate teams,
ICT and other stakeholders to resolve reporting and data issues and deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

You’ll be an experienced leader with the technical capability to work hands on and the judgement to turn complex reporting and business needs into practical solutions.
You’ll bring
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a reporting, analytics, data or comparable function, including setting priorities, quality assurance, coaching and developing others.
- Strong experience across business analysis, organisational reporting and complex cross functional improvement.
- Advanced hands on Power BI capability, including data transformation, modelling, DAX, dashboard and report development.
- Experience designing or developing business solutions using Power Apps, with broader Power Platform capability highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and data modelling capability, with the ability to turn complex information into reliable measures, meaningful insights and clear decision support.
- Experience coordinating contractual, compliance, outcomes, service or organisational performance reporting across multiple business areas.
- The ability to interpret reporting obligations, business rules and stakeholder needs and translate them into clear reporting and analytical requirements.
- Experience mapping processes, identifying root causes and supporting practical improvements through solution design, testing, implementation and documentation.
- Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills, including the ability to explain complex data and technical information to non technical audiences.
- Confidence using contemporary AI tools, with an understanding of their capabilities, limitations and responsible application in reporting, analysis and business improvement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business analysis, information systems, data analytics, business, technology or a related discipline, or substantial equivalent experience.
