About the Opportunity Our client is an established Australian skilled services and accounting organisation providing financial management, accounting and business support services to a diverse portfolio of businesses.

We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant / Management Accountant to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to take on a varied role with exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance and client accounting.

The Role Reporting to senior members of the finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely delivery of accounting and financial management functions across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Complete bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations and resolve variances.
- Process and review invoices, ensuring appropriate account allocation and accurate financial recording.
- Assist with payroll and payment processing as required.
- Maintain accounts receivable records and liaise with clients regarding account-related matters.




- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities in line with established procedures.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for allocated entities.
- Produce reconciliations, schedules and supporting documentation for month-end and periodic reporting.
- Assist with BAS, PAYG and consolidated activity statement preparation.
- Provide cash flow information and financial analysis to senior accountants and the CFO.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records across the portfolio.
- Support finance-related projects, process improvements and other duties as required.
