About the Role:

We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to be second-in-command in our kitchen, supporting our Head Chef in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our residents at Templestowe Woodlands Care Community.

What You'll Do:

n

Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and managing daily operations.

n

Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals that meet resident dietary needs and preferences.

n

Help maintain the highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and compliance.

n

Step up and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

n

Contribute to creating a dining experience that brings joy to our residents.

n

What You'll Need:

n

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.

n

Experience as a Chef, with some supervisory or leadership exposure.

n

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

n

A passion for food and a genuine desire to make a difference in aged care.

n

Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

n
