About the role

n

MSS Security is seeking a Security Site Lead to oversee the daily operations of security services at a Data Centre located in Melbourne. This position requires a Positive Vetting clearance. A competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year will be provided to successful applicants who hold or obtain the clearance.

Duties

n

n
- Team leadership: Lead, support and mentor a team of up to 15 security officers, managing performance, attendance and presentation.
n
- Security operations: Oversee daily security operations, ensuring site procedures and client requirements are upheld.
n
- Site compliance: Conduct site inspections and toolbox briefings to ensure security officers maintain required licences and training.
n
- Incident management: Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies, ensuring appropriate escalation and documentation.
n
- Operational coverage: Manage shift drops and site coverage.
n
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, responding promptly to service requests.

Requirements

n

n
- Prior experience in a security team leader,



supervisory or managerial role.
n
- Prior data centre experience is highly regarded.
n
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
n
- Hold or willing to obtain a Positive Vetting clearance (sponsorship available).
n
- Must be able to supply background information including (but not limited to) referees, past addresses, overseas travel, education etc.
n
- Valid Victorian Security Licence.
