Google Platform Specialist | Paid Search

If you know your way around Google Ads better than most people know their Netflix account, this could be worth a look.

I’m hiring a Google Platform Specialist for a role that is heavily focused on the technical side of Paid Search.

This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your entire week in meetings and PowerPoint decks. You’ll actually be in the platforms – building, testing, analysing and optimising campaigns, figuring out what’s driving performance and making changes that move the numbers.

You’ll work across large-scale B2C, Retail and eCommerce campaigns, with performance measured against real commercial outcomes including ROAS and CPA. The role covers everything from keyword and competitor research through to account builds, optimisation, strategic recommendations and reporting.

The tech skills I’m looking for:

- 4+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience




- Strong Paid Search campaign implementation and optimisation skills
- Experience with Shopping and Remarketing
- Understanding of campaign tracking, testing and measurement
- Strong knowledge of PPC best practice
- Comfortable digging into data and turning it into actual optimisation decisions
- SA360 / GMP experience is a big plus
- YouTube, GDN and broader paid media exposure is also valuable
- Retail or eCommerce campaign experience would be ideal

You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room. You do need to be curious, technically strong, commercially switched on and someone who genuinely enjoys figuring out how to make campaigns perform better.

It’s remote working, but you’ll need to be based in Melbourne.
