We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Fire Assayer to join our laboratory team in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous laboratory experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality results.
Duties include, however are not limited to:
- Weigh, flux, fire, knock up, and cupellate samples in the correct numerical order.
- Perform all fire assay activities in accordance with established quality control procedures while preventing contamination.
- Manage the recycling and disposal of pots, slag, cupels, and other waste materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment within fire assay areas.
- Carry out basic non-trade maintenance of fire assay equipment.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Follow established communication and reporting processes.
