The Patient Services Officer Provides high level clerical support within the PTAS Unit, which entails a high standard of customer focused reception, database and clerical functions in support of patient travel, operating within the parameters of established PTAS policies and procedures associated with clinical, financial and administrative requirements.
You will need to
- Understanding of the Patient Travel Assistance Scheme (PTAS), or the ability to acquire such knowledge.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated keyboard and computer skills, including the ability to be trained in finance database operations and patient information systems.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$68,854 to $73,947 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
