In-house Counsel | 2–3yrs PAE | Global Business

Salary range $120,000–$130,000 super | Brisbane An excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer to make the move in-house with a successful Brisbane-founded business with significant global operations.

Working directly with the General Counsel as part of an experienced legal team, you will gain exposure to a genuinely broad range of commercial and corporate matters in a growing international business.

The role

Your work will include

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts;
- Corporate and M&A; matters;
- Privacy, data, cybersecurity and AI;
- Intellectual property;
- Governance and other general commercial matters; and
- A range of other legal issues that arise across an international business.

This is an opportunity to build breadth early in your career, with direct mentoring and increasing responsibility as your capability develops.

About you

This role is perfectly suited to lawyers with around 2–3 years’ PAE from a corporate, commercial or IP/IT/technology background.





You don't need experience across every area. More important will be strong legal fundamentals, positive drafting skills, attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.

You will be someone who is curious, practical and commercially minded, and happy to roll up your sleeves and assist with whatever the legal team needs.
