Management Accounting Team Leader, Corporate Finance ANZ The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you'll use your leadership skills to drive a robust EOM process and engage a team of high performers to embrace recent opportunities to add value to the business. You'll join a team of high performers who rely on collaboration, adaptability and continuous improvement to achieve market-leading outcomes.
This is a genuine leadership seat in our business. You'll directly influence a brand's numbers by partnering with GMs and finance business partners, and you'll be in the room when the commercial calls get made. We trust you to run your own work, so you won't be watched over or measured by the hours you clock, you'll be measured by the quality of what you deliver and the calls you help the business make.

What you'll do
- Lead a team of management accountants, ensuring resource prioritisation and constant growth and improvements.
- Ensure performance and accuracy of the management accounting team and their key deliverables.
- Design management reports effectively capturing the key business indicators.
- Management of forecasting and budgeting including 3 way modelling (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Cash Flow).
- Manage the preparation of financial reporting packs including month end results handbooks.
- Be the key contact for numerous business stakeholders including operations, sales, account management and supply.
- Work with and support commercial analytics team to drive business’ strategic initiatives.
- Improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes. Troubleshoot and resolve any financial queries for business stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes.
About you
You're an energetic, customer-centric finance leader. Naturally curious, comfortable building relationships across all levels of management, and genuinely interested in what the data is telling the business. You're proactive, you manage deadlines well, and you'll think outside the box to solve a complex problem.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Finance, Accounting, Commerce role or similar
- At least 2 years’ experience in leadership
- Experience in partnering well with operational and transactional staff
- Experience in successfully leading a team
- Advance skills in the Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to demonstrate technical accounting knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to find process efficiencies whilst maintaining external controls
- Ability to work autonomously and with agility
