An exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a busy finance team supporting reporting, compliance and financial planning activities. This hands-on role offers exposure across month-end processes, taxation, budgeting and cash flow reporting within a stable and growing business

Description

- Prepare month-end reports, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Manage the lodgement and payment of tax obligations including BAS, IAS, PAYG and Payroll Tax.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting activities.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.




- Provide general finance support and assist with ad hoc projects as required.

Profile

- 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounting position.
- Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Experience within the construction, trades or related industries will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to JobPac is essential
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- CPA/CA Qualified or studying towards.
- Full working rights within Australia.
