About our client
Our client is an established mining services provider delivering production mining operations at a major open cut mine in regional NSW. With a strong pipeline of work and an established site team, they are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to provide frontline leadership across production activities and support the safe and efficient delivery of mining operations.

What you’ll need

- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Mining Supervisor or Open Cut Supervisor
- Strong open cut production mining experience
- Proven experience leading and coordinating mining crews
- Current relevant RII competencies and mining qualifications
- Current Standard 11 and Australian Driver's Licence
- Current VOCs from previous mine sites or employers
- Strong safety focus with effective leadership and communication skills
- Experience across large mining fleets including CAT 777 Haul Trucks, 200t–300t+ Excavators, D11 Dozers, Graders, Water Carts and Loaders
- Ability to meet site medical, drug and alcohol testing and onboarding requirements

What you’ll do

- Lead and support production crews across daily mining activities
- Coordinate people and equipment to meet operational priorities




- Drive secure and productive outcomes across each shift
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and crew communications
- Monitor production progress and address operational issues
- Maintain compliance with site procedures and standards
- Coach and support crew members on shift
