About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting an Injection Moulding Operator to join a leading manufacturer and supplier servicing the mining and industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machine operator who is mechanically minded and enjoys understanding how machinery works, troubleshooting basic issues and producing quality products.
Based in Campbellfield, this is a casual ongoing chance with a strong view to permanent employment for the right person.
You will work the following day shift:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am – 12:30pm
Enjoy consistent weekday hours and an early finish every Friday!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate injection moulding machinery and associated equipment
- Monitor production and moulding cycles to ensure consistent quality
- Complete machine start-up, operation and basic adjustments
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine or production issues
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Follow production specifications and work instructions
- Maintain accurate production records
- Assist with general machine and production duties as required
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily targets
About You – To be successful, you will have:
- Previous injection moulding experience is highly regarded
- Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a mechanically minded approach
- Confidence identifying and troubleshooting basic machinery issues
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to follow procedures, specifications and work instructions
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work the required day shift hours
