The Opportunity
Reporting into the Payroll Leadership team, this position offers a unique blend of payroll systems ownership, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. Acting as the internal SAP SuccessFactors subject matter expert, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimising the Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) environment while partnering closely with Payroll, HR and Finance stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how payroll systems operate behind the scenes and can confidently troubleshoot issues, improve processes and support ongoing system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the internal SME for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Support the ongoing maintenance, administration and optimisation of the SuccessFactors environment
- Investigate and resolve system-related and payroll processing issues
- Manage organisational structure updates and employee master data changes within SuccessFactors
- Coordinate and execute testing activities for system upgrades,
enhancements and releases
- Maintain strong data integrity, governance and system controls
- Partner with Payroll, HR and Finance stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities
- Support reporting, compliance and audit requirements through effective system management
- Liaise with external providers and technical support teams as required
The Successful Applicant:
- Demonstrated experience working within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or SAP
- Strong understanding of payroll system architecture, workflows and data management
- Experience supporting payroll systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions
- Exposure to system upgrades, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Previous experience working within payroll, HRIS or shared services environments
- SAP SuccessFactors certification will be highly regarded but is not essential
