Role Description
This is a on-site role based in Marrickville and Glebe, NSW. This role is for a contractor role starting part-time with potential to go fulltime.
The Physiotherapist will provide high-quality, evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse caseload, including musculoskeletal, sports, and rehabilitation clients. We are looking for someone who is patient outcomes focused, delivering clinical excellence and demonstrating genuine care in every patient interaction.
Day-to-day tasks include conducting thorough clinical assessments, developing individualised treatment and exercise plans,
delivering hands-on therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation, and monitoring client progress. The role also involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, using gym-based facilities for performance and rehab programs, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and educating clients on injury prevention, movement, and long-term health.
Qualifications
- Recognised degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA and SIRA.
- Minimum 1 year of private practice experience.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including assessment, manual therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation.
- Experience working in gym-based or performance-focused environments, with the ability to design and progress strength and conditioning programs safely.
- Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Solid documentation and time-management skills, including efficient use of clinical systems and adherence to qualified standards.
- Experienced or training in dry needling.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Comfortable working with diverse populations, including athletes, general population, and complex cases.
