We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Pricing Manager to lead pricing and portfolio management activities within a leading insurance organisation. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a pricing professional who combines technical excellence with robust people leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
About the Role
As Senior Pricing Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for pricing, portfolio management, performance monitoring and analytics. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will provide strategic insights and recommendations that support profitable growth, portfolio optimisation and effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of pricing and analytics professionals.
- Drive the organisation's pricing and portfolio management framework, including reporting, monitoring and analysis.
- Deliver pricing analysis and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide recommendations to improve portfolio performance, profitability and growth outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders across underwriting, product,
finance and growth teams.
- Present pricing, portfolio and performance insights to senior management and governance committees.
- Ensure analytical advice is robust, commercially relevant and aligned across the business.
- Support strategic initiatives, projects and business transformation activities.
About You
You are an experienced pricing professional with a strong background in insurance and a proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and deliver commercial outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in insurance pricing, analytics and portfolio management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in long-tail insurance products and claims analytics will be highly regarded.
