We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of a major data centre project, driving the next wave of digital and AI-enabled growth. Your Opportunity

This isn't a role where you'll be managing spreadsheets from the sidelines.

You'll take ownership of major work packages on a significant project, leading everything from planning and procurement through to delivery on site. You'll have the backing of an experienced project team, but the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems and drive outcomes.

Whether it's coordinating critical interfaces, navigating delivery challenges or finding smarter ways to get the job done, you'll be trusted to lead your scope and make an impact.

As a senior member of the team, you'll also help shape the next generation of engineers, providing guidance, sharing lessons learned and helping build a high-performing project culture.

What you'll be doing

- Owning the delivery of key project work packages from planning through to completion
- Leading subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to keep works moving safely, efficiently and to program
- Driving construction planning, staging and sequencing to optimise delivery outcomes
- Managing cost, quality,



safety and schedule performance across your scope of works
- Working through complex challenges, mitigating risks and finding practical solutions in a live project environment
- Contributing to forecasting, budgeting, reporting and commercial decision-making
- Building strong relationships with clients, delivery partners and key project stakeholders
- Supporting and mentoring Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Graduates as they develop their careers

What You'll Bring

You've built your career delivering complex construction projects and know what it takes to keep work moving when conditions aren't always straightforward.

- Experience delivering large-scale construction or infrastructure projects valued at $150M+
- A proven ability to lead complex work packages and coordinate multiple stakeholders, disciplines and contractors
- Strong commercial understanding, including cost control, forecasting, contract administration and project reporting
- Experience managing procurement and subcontractor performance throughout the project lifecycle
- Sound technical knowledge and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-paced construction environment
- Building project experience will be highly regarded
- The ability to earn trust quickly and build strong working relationships at every level
- A genuine interest in developing people and leading from the front
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
