BMD is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our Queensland team. Reporting to the Project Director, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the project office while providing high-level support to the Project Director and Senior Leadership Team.

Initially based in Brisbane, this opportunity will transition to the Sunshine Coast, making it an ideal role for a highly organised professional looking to combine career growth with a future coastal lifestyle.

About the Role

As Office Manager, you will act as the central coordination point for the project team, supporting day-to-day office operations, workforce logistics, onboarding activities, facilities management and administration functions.

No two days will be the same. You'll be responsible for creating an efficient, professional and welcoming workplace that enables project teams to perform at their best while supporting the establishment and transition to the Sunshine Coast office.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the project office
- Manage office facilities, equipment, supplies and building requirements
- Coordinate meeting rooms, workshops and leadership meetings
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Project Director and Senior Leadership Team
- Manage office assets, including IT equipment, fleet requirements and asset registers




- Coordinate employee onboarding and mobilisation activities, including inductions and workspace setup
- Liaise with People & Culture, IT, Finance and HSEQ teams to support project operations
- Coordinate project events, team functions, workshops and stakeholder visits
- Arrange travel, accommodation and logistics for project personnel
- Assist with project administration, reporting and documentation
- Foster a professional, welcoming and high-performing office environment
- Support the transition and establishment of the Sunshine Coast office

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will be a confident and adaptable administration qualified who enjoys working across a broad range of responsibilities and building strong relationships.

You will bring:

- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, Senior Administrator or Project Administrator
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- High attention to detail and the ability to work with discretion and confidentiality
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Experience coordinating office operations, facilities, onboarding and workforce logistics




- The ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of a business
- A commitment to maintaining BMD's values and positive team culture
- Flexibility to transition to the Sunshine Coast following the initial Brisbane-based establishment period
