About the Role

An established electronic security integrator is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer / Technician to join its Melbourne team.

The role focuses on programming, commissioning, integrating and delivering complex electronic security systems across commercial and enterprise projects.

Duties

- Programming and commissioning electronic security systems
- Configure and integrate access control, CCTV and associated security platforms
- Complete system testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Assist with the development and implementation of integrated security solutions
- Work with IP networks and associated security hardware
- Interpret system designs, drawings and technical documentation
- Liaise with project teams, clients and other stakeholders
- Ensure systems are delivered and commissioned to specification

Skills & Experience





- 3+ years' experience within electronic security
- Strong programming and commissioning experience
- Solid understanding of access control, CCTV and IP networking
- Experience with one or more of the following highly regarded:
- Integriti
- Gallagher
- Genetec
- Milestone

- Relevant manufacturer certifications will be highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently across technically complex projects
