Drake International is continuing to grow its presence across Perth, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a specialist temporary recruitment desk within our technical trades business.

This is an opportunity for an established recruitment professional with strong technical trades knowledge, a proven 360° recruitment methodology and a track record of managing and growing a successful temporary desk.

About the Role

As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of a specialist technical trades temporary desk, managing the full 360° recruitment process from business development and candidate sourcing through to placement and ongoing workforce management.

You will work with clients across technical and skilled trades environments, providing high-quality recruitment solutions and building long-term partnerships.

The ideal candidate will bring strong market knowledge, commercial acumen and the ability to operate confidently across both client development and candidate management. You will have the autonomy to grow your desk, develop existing accounts and identify recent opportunities within higher-value recruitment markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow a specialist technical trades temporary recruitment desk
- Develop new business and expand existing client relationships
- Build strong relationships with clients, candidates and key stakeholders
- Manage the full 360° recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement and ongoing workforce management
- Source, assess and place high-quality technical trades candidates
- Provide market insight and recruitment advice to clients
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts, increase margins and generate revenue
- Manage your desk, pipeline, KPIs and financial performance
- Maintain strong candidate engagement, retention and workforce relationships
- Work collaboratively with the wider Drake team and contribute to a high-performing culture

About You





- Proven experience in 360° recruitment, ideally within temporary recruitment
- Strong technical trades recruitment knowledge and industry experience
- A demonstrated ability to develop business, manage client relationships and grow revenue
- Experience managing a successful temporary desk with a strong understanding of commercial margins
- Confident engaging with clients, candidates and senior stakeholders
- Strong market knowledge and an established network within the trades sector
- Commercially driven, results-focused and comfortable working autonomously
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- A high level of organisation, accountability and initiative
