Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Location: Northern Beaches
Salary: $75,000 + Super

We’re currently partnering with a well-regarded school on the Northern Beaches to recruit a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Officer / Carpenter to join their facilities team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable, full-time role in a supportive, community-focused workplace.

The Role

Working as part of the on-site maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of buildings and grounds, with a strong focus on carpentry and general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out general carpentry repairs and minor construction works
- Perform routine maintenance across classrooms, facilities, and grounds
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment
- Support contractors and assist with project works as required

About You:





- Trade-qualified Carpenter (or strong carpentry background)
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or similar environments
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Strong awareness of workplace health & safety
- WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
