Detour Refrigerated Logistics is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join their growing refrigerated transport operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of temperature-controlled freight, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, food safety standards, and company procedures while providing exceptional customer service.

The annual salary for the Truck Driver position is $80,000 to $85,000.

Tasks include:

- Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-start,



en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure loads are secured and transported in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain required temperature settings during transport.
- Complete temperature and delivery records accurately as required.
- Ensure refrigerated equipment is operating correctly before and during transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery, logbook, and transport documentation.
- Comply with road transport legislation, fatigue management requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
- Load and unload goods when required.
- Plan and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely customer service.
- Report vehicle defects, incidents, delays, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Communicate effectively with Dispatchers, customers, and management.
- Maintain cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicles.

Qualifications:

- Must possess a valid Heavy Rigid (HR), Heavy Combination (HC), or Multi Combination (MC) driver's license.
- Should have a minimum of one to three (1-3) years of truck driving experience in a commercial transport environment.
- Good knowledge of road transport regulations and safety requirements.
- Demonstrated understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
- Strong commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Clean driving record preferred.
