Trust Medical Recruitment is seeking a Practice Nurse (Enrolled Nurse) to join a supportive multidisciplinary primary healthcare team in Toowoomba, QLD. This full-time opportunity offers excellent work-life balance with Monday to Friday hours, no weekends, nights, or shift work.
This is more than a traditional treatment room role. You will work closely with General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, and Allied Health Professionals to support chronic disease management, preventative healthcare, care planning, health assessments, immunisations, and ongoing patient engagement. Whether you're an experienced Practice Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse looking to expand your skills in primary healthcare, you'll be supported through ongoing mentoring and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within scope of practice
- Assist with chronic disease management, preventative health, immunisations, wound care, and health assessments
- Support care planning, recalls, follow-up programs, and patient engagement
- Promote culturally safe and respectful healthcare
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice or similar software
- Work collaboratively with GPs, Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, and Allied Health Professionals
Requirements Essential
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Experience in primary care, general practice, community health, or a related clinical setting
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- Commitment to culturally safe, patient-centred care
- Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
Desirable
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Experience in chronic disease management and preventative health
- Experience using Best Practice or similar clinical software
- Nurse Immuniser qualification and/or phlebotomy skills
- Previous experience in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation or multidisciplinary primary healthcare setting
