About the role

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Technical Support Engineer to join our growing energy storage and solar solutions team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience or robust interest in solar inverters, battery storage systems, and renewable energy technologies.

You will work closely with installers, distributors, and internal teams to provide technical support across both presales and aftersales stages. The role includes troubleshooting, system analysis, commissioning support, and coordination with engineering and product teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and product performance.

This role is available in Sydney or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

- Provide technical support to installers and partners across presales and aftersales stages, including system design clarification, product selection guidance, and fault resolution

- Troubleshoot inverter and battery system issues across on-grid, hybrid, and off-grid applications, and provide timely technical solutions

- Analyse system performance and fault data through monitoring platforms to support diagnosis and case resolution

- Support commissioning activities, system configuration, and onsite technical assistance when required

- Participate in product verification and local testing activities, including issue reproduction, validation of fixes, and feedback to R&D; teams

- Support presales technical reviews by assessing system compatibility, application scenarios, and installation feasibility

- Handle aftersales technical cases from initial report through to closure, ensuring proper documentation and customer follow-up





- Escalate complex technical issues to engineering teams and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders

- Collect and consolidate field feedback from installers and customers to support continuous product improvement

- Support the creation and maintenance of technical notes, application guides, and troubleshooting documentation

About you

- Background in electrical engineering, renewable energy, electronics, or related technical field

- Experience with solar, inverter, battery storage, or electrical systems is highly regarded

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation

- Familiarity with monitoring platforms and remote diagnostics is advantageous

- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical cases effectively

- Willingness to provide occasional onsite technical support when required

- Previous customer support or field service experience is beneficial

- Australian driver's licence preferred
