Join a new underground infrastructure program (An Australian first) at an early stage and help establish accurate, viable routes for a brand-new ducted network.
This travel-based role suits a surveyor with demonstrated experience across cable ploughing and ripper dozers, supporting construction, directional drilling, ploughing and underground infrastructure works.

- Employment type: Contract with view to permanency
- Roster: 10 days on, 4 days off
- Location: Working throughout NSW
- Salary: 10/4 roster (10 days on, 4 days off) working throughout NSW, LAFHA provided to cover accommodation and meals.

Duties

- Conduct site inspections and pre-construction surveys.
- Locate and document underground and above-ground services.
- Capture accurate GPS/GNSS survey data, coordinates, photographs and field records.
- Assess routes, hazards, obstacles and potential service clashes.
- Support construction, directional drilling, cable ploughing, ripper-dozer and underground infrastructure works.
- Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports in line with project requirements.





Skills & experience

- Demonstrated surveying experience across cable ploughing and ripper dozers.
- Experience in construction, civil, utilities, telecommunications or underground infrastructure.
- Proficiency with GPS/GNSS equipment and accurate digital field-data capture.
- Ability to locate services, interpret construction plans and identify hazards or clashes.
- Current driver’s licence; White Card and relevant construction tickets are desirable.
