The Opportunity
The Childcare Worker is accountable to the Childcare Curriculum Coordinator for the efficient provision of quality care ensuring the education, health, safety and welfare of the children in care.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant Certificate III qualification or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience to perform duties at this level.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, staff and students, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of childcare practices, including meeting children’s day-to-day needs, maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace, following policies and procedures, and applying Work Health and Safety requirements.
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
